A little project I've been working on for the website has come to fruition and I'll shortly be adding an interview section to the website. Kicking it off we have an interview with a star of the 80's who talks about what it was really like to wrestle Big Daddy as well as all matter of other interesting stuff. Hopefully time permitting it will be online tomorrow and any feedback will be great.
here's a good one : ther used to be 27 active, vibrant wrestling clubs in the greater london area...fine sport, great socially, highly competitive and a contribution to the kids in the area.
now only the TOKEI exists and only saturday mornings BUT the training and standard is even better than the 27 clubs of yesterday...support it with the tiniest bit of DOSH as it is in danger of being THATCHERISED... notwithstanding that Olympic prospects are training there with former Olympians and former world champions...BUt it cost nothing to go to watch a training session and around 3 quid to participate
MORE IMPORTANTLY BECOME A FRIEND OF TOKEI OLYMPIC WRESTLING CLUB...INTRODUCE YOURSELF AND ASK FOR THE HEAD COACH...A HARD BAST...D... AND ALSO MY SOLICITOR
UNLIKE JU-DO NO BOWING AND SCRAPING...ALL THAT ENTER ARE ONE OF THE BOYS IF THEY WRESTLE OR DON'T.....SAVE THE CLUB.....A LAST NOTE.
THUCIDIDES IN 140 B.C. (I WAS THERE) "IT IS ENEMIES THAT WAR BUT IT IS FRIENDS THAT WRESTLE TOGETHER.
